BA- TTM Course was introduced in 2005, thereby making the Department a pioneer in women’s education and training in Travel & Tourism industry in the Malabar area. Being a semi-professional job oriented course, the Department focuses mainly on enabling students meet the challenges and opportunities of the world by providing on the job training. Foundation course in Travel and Tourism from IATA, Travel Agency & CRS Training is also offered outside the campus to equip the students professionally and to guide them to the fore-front in the corporate world.  A Department magazine tilted AURA is released annually to develop the creative skills and research acumen of the students. Motivational talks by women leaders are regularly arranged to create awareness about the role and responsibility of women in society. The Department is also in collaboration with various tourism related organisations such as DTPC, Speed Wings, Alhind and the Tourism department. This helps the Department in providing industry related additional certificate courses to the students apart from the prescribed curriculum and to thus better the employment prospects of the students. Feedback is taken from graduates and employers through social media. PTA meetings are conducted after every internal examination and formative assessment of each student is recorded and communicated to the parents. Students actively participate in Extracurricular and Co-curricular Activities along with various other social programmes.
